The Cantine Volpetti are located in the heart of the production area of the Colli Albani, in the hills of volcanic origin south of Rome that slope down towards the sea, where there are testimonies from Cato and Orazio who prove the presence of the vine already in ancient times.
Since 1958 the Volpetti family is directly involved in the production of its wines with the constant
goal that leads to the enhancement and characterization of the most typical oenological products of the Castelli Romani. Starting from indigenous vines such as Malvasia Puntinata, Cesanese and Bellone, cultivating national vines such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Trebbiano to reach the international ones that have more adapted to the territory such as Syrah and Chardonnay.
The company today produces a wide range of products that represent a mix of territory and vineyards, of constant quality assurance and an elegant and prestigious image, in a combination of tradition and innovative wine experiences.
