BODEGA LAS VIRTUDES

Nearly 60% of the surface area of Bodega Las Virtudes is dedicated to the indigenous variety Monastrell whom we get the most out of its properties and virtues. We also grow foreign varieties such as the atlantic Sauvignon Blanc as white grapes, or Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot as red ones. These varieties, together with our climate, sun and soil, allow us to produce intensely aromatic wines, fleshy with persistent, velvety tannins (including a BIO range).
A living expression of the personality of the new Mediterranean wines.
We also produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil in our own olive mill.

Bodega Las Virtudes was set up in 1961 as a response to the need for small wineries and local producers to join forces. In the 70’s significant expansion took place: Oak barrels were purchased – the source of the aged sediments of our Fondillón wine today – as well as a small bottling plant and an ultra-cooling treatment equipment. In the 90’s, the commitment to quality consolidates when the technical department undertakes an extensive investment plan. Nowadays, we contribute to growth to the productive economy and we transform raw materials into prestigious products. In addition, thanks to the small farmers, our partners, a traditional farming method and our landscape are preserved that is an undeniable part of the Mediterranean iconography.
