Bodegas Amézola de la Mora was the first Château in La Rioja. All our wines come from our own 60 hectare vinyeards, all surrounding our winery, which grow Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano and Viura varietals.
The winery was founded in 1987 by Íñigo and Javier Amézola who took up again the tradition their grandfather started in the 19th century. The entrepreneurial spirit was continued by Kitty, Íñigo's wife, in the year 2000. In 2006 María and Cristina, Íñigo and Kitty's daughters, picked up the baton becoming the youngest winegrowers in Spain and empowering a concept of wine that respects tradition and embraces the future.

Bodegas Amézola de la Mora fue la primera bodega estilo Château de la Rioja. Todos nuestros vinos proceden de las 60 hectáreas de viñedo propio de las variedades de Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano y Viura que rodean nuestras instalaciones.
La bodega fue fundada en 1987 por Íñigo y Javier Amézola quienes retomaron la actividad que su abuelo había comenzado en el siglo XIX. Este espíritu emprendedor fue continuado por Kitty, la mujer de Íñigo, en el año 2000. En el 2006 María y Cristina, las hijas de Íñigo y Kitty, recogieron el testigo convirtiéndose en las bodegueras más jóvenes de España e impulsando un concepto de vino que respeta la tradición y mira hacia el futuro.
