Cascina Giovinale is an old farm, documented as operational from the late 19th century, which inspired Anna and Bruno Ciocca, both born in Nizza and with a passionate love for their hometown, to launch a project for the production of high-quality wines made exclusively with grapes grown in their own vineyards, enhancing their characteristics and identity. That project came to fruition in the 1980s, when they opened their cellar in Nizza Monferrato, on the top of San Nicolao hill, with seven hectares of vineyards. Refined and appealing wines, smooth yet complex, with all the aroma and character of Barbera made with passion and meticulous attention to detail, in a terroir of excellence which is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage.
