DOMAINE DE L'AMAURIGUE

Domaine de l’Amaurigue is a beautiful estate and a family-owned winery, situated in the heart of the Provence. The 45 ha vineyard is surrounded by 110 ha of woods and hills offering a rare protection. Per year, about 300.000 bottles are produced from which 70% are rosé, 20% red and 10% white. The modern wine cellar is designed to work mainly by gravity, preserving the quality of the grapes by avoiding pumping. During the winemaking process, our working philosophy is to preserve the authenticity and natural aromatic taste of our Provencal grapes.

The exceptional soil, composed of clay and chalk, allow full expression of the flavours of the different typical Provence varieties: Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan for the rosés, Rolle for the white and Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah for the red.

With this unique terroir, Domaine de l’Amaurigue produces top-quality and Award winning Provence wines: like the Médaille d’Or on the Concours Général Agricole de Paris, and gold at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London.

We grow our wines with respect for our environment, cultivating a sustainable agriculture. Wine lovers of great Provence wines will discover in l’Amaurigue the pleasure of tasting authentique and unique wines.

Domaine de l’Amaurigue features under the label Fleur de l’Amaurigue the following selection:

Fleur Rosé is composed of 80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault. With a beautiful pale salmon colour, rich aromas of grapefruits & banana, a touch of spiciness and fine freshness, this is dry Provence rosé at its very best. Enjoy it as an aperitif and with a variety of dishes, from salads to lamb, quiches and seafood..

Fleur White is made of 100% Rolle. This delicious wine ages in French oak barrels for about 10 months. The result is a very tasteful white wine with a touch of honey sweet pears, lemon and a bit of vanilla. A perfect match in combination with chicken, fish and goat cheese.

Fleur Red is composed of 70 % Syrah and 30 % Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine ferments in French oak barrels for about 14 months and has the characteristic spicy nose of the Syrah grown in Provence, combined with the robust taste of cassis and ripe berries of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Good to combine with veal, lamb, couscous and French cheese.
