Born in a family in which wine production is a heritage, Bernardo Romano and Piero Adamo are cousins. They transformed a passion –small scale family wine production– into a business project. It is the discovery and appreciation of calabrians autochthon vineyards, in specific Cirò DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin), with a specific research and process. From the “Vineyard”, it follows all the production phases up to the actual wine-making and finally the bottling. The main goal is to produce high quality wine, which is the expression of a terroir. The usage of high technology is however still combined with tradition. Tasting Romano & Adamo wine you can really appreciate the importance given to experimentation, but the main characteristic of the product, its typicalness, is preserved.
