Description

It has a deep red color and an elegant and enveloping body. Fruity and floral, with notes of plum, blackberry and cherry jams but also rhubarb, eucalyptus, cedar, tobacco and black cherry. Presence of tertiary aromas, such as toasted or spicy hints of cocoa, cloves and young leather. Incredible finesse with solid and compact structure and long persistence.

Aging: 15 months (with a long period in French oak barrels holding 500 liters), followed by 8 months of aging in bottle.
SUGGESTED FOOD PAIRINGS: Game dishes such as stews, braised meats, wild boar, guinea fowl or duck, but also roasted veal and pork. Or, as a so called «meditation wine», to be drunk in the evening paired with dark chocolate.
