Description
The grapes used to produce our Barbera Superiore are selected from a single vineyards named Baina ,facing west . The limestone soil and a meticoulus work in the vineyard leads to obtain a wine outstanding quality and personality . Although the wine is enjoyble immediately,its reaches its finest expression after 2-3 years ageing up to 15 yeras thanks to its great structure
VINEYARD: 350 metres above sea level - westerly exposure
GRAPE HARVEST: by hand into crates
VINIFICATION: maceration for 15 days then after the malolactic fermentatio the wine ages for 12 months in french oak barrels and 12 in the bottle
COLOR : deep ruby red with violet hues
PERFUME: vinous with scents of red berries and plum
SUGGESTED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °c
PAIRINGS: roasted and boiled meats , cured meats and fried dishes
