Considered the King of wines, it holds an intense garnet color with a spicy and fruity scent ; on both scent and pallet you take in notes of small red fruits. Holding a complex body of sensations from rose and withered violet in its floral notes to cinnamon, black pepper, nutmeg ,vanilla and liquorice in its more spicy tones to even more unique hints of cocoa, tobacco and leather. Barolo must age at least tree years, one and a half of which is aged in oak wooden barrels. Enjoyable after 4-6 years reaching it’s peak after year 10, it can hold its astounding flavour for more than 20 years.
