Colli Bolognesi doc Bologna Rosso RED
Description
The name is RED. Just like that (nothing to do with pop rock band Simply Red!).
It’s a Colli Bolognesi doc Bologna Rosso, mainly aged in stainless steel tanks and in bottle. Made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes (as you know, the Cab is ‘almost indigenous’ in our wine area Colli Bolognesi) and a small touch of other local red grapes, has a tremendous value for money. It means to be ‘social’, young and easy, very much food friendly.… but consider anyway it has body, structure and deep impact. It is obtained by high quality grapes (the vineyard management is the same as for our top wines such as Controluce and Flora Italica).
RED is fermented with wild spontaneous yeasts and it is not filtered (please also note that we are going through transition process to organic).
The label is as simple as the wine, but has a strong visual effect: the label is ‘RED’, just like that, big red fonts which mean RED on a total black background.
