Description
The grapes of Saó Blanc are 100% organic, hand-harvested and come from two different vineyards: The Artists' Vineyard -White Grenache- and Senill -Macabeo-. Pre-maceration of the grapes with the peels in cold for 6 hours. It fermentates and ages 6 months in French oak barrels. Only 4000 bottles are made this vintage. Old vineyard. +700m. above the sea level. Poor soil, 3500 Kg/Ha. Fermentation and aging in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Pale yellow colouring with green highlights. White fruit aroma with tropical hints enveloped
by oak aging smokiness. Highly consistent and elegant. On the palate we find a wine with character, intense and full-bodied, with a smoked and fruity predominance and an excellent final balance. Food pairing: rice, pasta, white meats, fish, soft cheese.
