Description

Torrefavale is a famous Tufo resort since it was the first plot where Greco was planted for the first time, coming from Greece. Angelo owned only one piece but, slowly over the years, one piece at a time managed to purchase all the original plot which is now one hectare. In the upper part, we have Greco plants replanted between 20 and 40 years ago, while in the lower part we have plants on "piede franco" planted in 1920 and still managed with the old Raggiera Avellinese (the old training system used years ago in Irpinia). The wine produced from these vineyards is a meditation wine and certainly, a wine that can challenge time in an excellent way as only the great whites can do. Aged only in steel for at least one year and bottled for another year before being put on the market.
