Description
Colour: bright straw-yellow colour in virtue of an excellent integration of the perlage
which is fine and persistent
Aroma: the initial incisiveness is striking, with notes of apple and pear, in addition to
floral hints and a suggestion of freshly baked bread. Vitality is the most significant aspect
of the expression of the bouquet and anticipates the pleasure of the taste.
Flavour: the wine caresses the tongue with a light smoothness before developing,
thanks to the fineness of the perlage; the taste is refreshing and evokes the flavoursome
quality of the most famous place of Valdobbiadene. Reciprocal
qualities expressed by the bouquet and gratifying concluding notes make for a highquality
performance.
Pairing: Cartizze makes an excellent
accompaniment to savoury flat oven-baked bread with cold meats and creamy fresh
cheeses. As well as complementing all types of open-topped sandwiches and the
characteristic Venetian 'cicchetti', fried vegetables and vegetable dishes.
