Founded in 1868 by Leopold (L.) Bastian, it is the oldest familiy owned Winery in the Kaiserstuhl region. Here at Kaiserstuhl, in the southwest of Germany, you find a mediterranean climate by the influence of the warm southwest winds through the burgundian gate between the alpes and the vosges mountains.
Here in the rhine valley next to the black forest you find in the main part the burgundian varieties: Pinot Noir (Blauer  Spätburugnder), Pinot Gris (Grauer Burgunder) and Pinot Blanc (Weisser Burgunder) but also a lot more. The 5. Generation is leaded by Dagmar and Andreas Neymeyer. Innovations for well drinking are always a very important aim in the production of all wines. You will be fascinated by the very low acides, sometimes with the lowest possible level in the - white - and red wines. In 2019 Andreas Neymeyer started with his online winetasting a new way for entering in the fascinating wine world and for a famous way to find your favorite wine. First only in German.
