Colli Bolognesi doc Bologna Bianco "Duesettanta"
Description
Duesettanta is a contemporary interpretation of the ‘marriage’ between our indigenous Grechetto Gentile and international varieties, like Sauvi-gnon and Chardonnay. The blend is elegant, but at the same time power-ful. Harmonious and well balanced, none of the grape varieties over-whelms the other. It pairs with grilled fish, fresh fish, crabs; goes also with prosciutto crudo, eggs, asparagus and other ‘difficult’ matching. Grapes - Sauvignon Blanc (65%), Grechetto gentile (10%) and Char-donnay (25%). The best grapes from white varieties from three dif-ferent exposures. 270 (like Duesettanta Twohundredseventy) de-grees inside the 360 degrees circle of the vineyards on Bella Vista hill. The canopy protects grapes even on the hottest of summer days, so the freshness, aromas and acidity are preserved. Sauvignon is har-vested at the end of August, Grechetto gentile (known as Pignoletto) around 5th of September. Grapes are hand picked, selected at first glance and then put in small crates
