Description
Carignan 100% from 3 different > 80 years old vines from Vilamansicle. Each lieu-dit is harvested at its optimal rippeness at the end of september/beginnings of october.
Fermented in 600 litres inox tanks during 25 days at an average of 25ºC. Pre&Post maceration. Aged during 12 months in French 225&300L oak barrels. Minimum aging in bottle of 12 months. Not filtered nor clarified.
Tasting Note
Brilliant garnet colour with clear medium plus intensity and inky legs.
Clean nose with fine aromas of fig, dark cherry, blackberry, oakiness, vanilla, clove, black peper, minerality. Well integrated wood.
Balanced wine fine grained, creamy, juicy and sweetness at the very end. Long and pleasent palate.
