Description
« Esprit de Parenchère » is the Château’s exceptional blend. Made for the first time with the fabulous 2005 vintage, it is the quintessential expression of the Parenchère terroir. Produced in confidential quantities, this blend is made only on the very great vintages, so that its unparalleled quality is ensured. It is made with grapes from the best plot of the estate with very low yields (about 3,800 litres per hectare). The wine is then aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (90% new). Our aim with this highly concentrated, very elegant wine is to show Parenchère at its best and to prove that wines coming from less well-known appellations can challenge the greatest Bordeaux wines.
