Description
Fiano is a grape variety of ancient origins, dating back to Roman times. Always valued for the sweetness of its berries so appreciated by the bees (Vitis Apiana, means vine of the bees). After the hard period of the Sixties, the obstinate work of Antonio Mastroberardino brought back Fiano being among the most cultivated vines in the province of Avellino. Today Fiano di Avellino is a great classic wine, well-known and appreciated worldwide.
