Description

The Villa dei Misteri project was born in 1996 when the Archaeological Superintendence of Pompeii gave the Mastroberardino Company the task of restoring viticulture in the ancient city of Pompeii. Archaeological investigations, botanical studies and the detection of the casts of the roots, of the vines and of the relative support posts (which the
great eruption of 79 AD has "immortalized" forever) have confirmed the viticulture also within the walls of the city, in the gardens and orchards that adorned the houses.
