MALVASIA DI CANDIA IGT - ENEA
Description
The name Candia is from a Greek port bearing the same title, from where it is thought to have made its ancient voyage to the Apennine peninsula. Grown mainly in the Italian region of Lazio, Malvasia di Candia is used predominantly for blended wines alongside the high-yielding Trebbiano, making crisp, dry whites with refreshing citrus notes of orange blossom.
Perfect with starters, delicate first courses, sea food and white meat.
Also, excellent alone or with aperitifs of cheese.
