Description
TASTING
An intense and deep red, it showcases a complex bouquet, with ripe fruit notes (blackberries, red plums) and elegant spices. Silky and delicate palate, as well as fleshy and opulent, but with a very present fruitiness. Lingering and balanced.
VARIETIES
Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet and Petit Verdot.

Monastrell, 35 years old. Cabernet Sauvignon, 20 years old. Alicante Bouschet, 30 years old. Petit Verdot, 13 years old.
SOIL
Stony limestone, poor in organic matter.

680 meters.
HARVEST SEASON
From 12 September to 8 October 2010.
YIELD
10 hl/ha of Monastrell, 20 hl/ha of Cabernet Sauvignon, 14 hl/ha of Alicante Bouschet and 30 hl/ha of Petit Verdot.
VINIFICATION
Hand-picked harvest in boxes and subjected to a strict selection process in the cellar. Pre-fermentation cold maceration (7ºC) prior to fermentation. Macerated for 20 days with grape skins. Malolactic fermentation and then aged for 14 months in French oak wood barrels.
