Description
TASTING
A brilliant cherry-red colour. Very fruity on the nose, intense black fruit notes such as blackberries and plums, harmonized with subtle spices and hints of chocolate and dried fruit. Good volume on the palate, silky but enveloping tannins, giving a fresh and balanced combination and a lingering finish.
VARIETIES
Monastrell, Garnacha Tintorera, Cabernet, Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
AGE OF THE VINEYARD
Monastrell over 30 years old, on rainfed and head-pruned vines. Garnacha Tintorera over 10 years old, on rainfed and head-pruned vines. Cabernet Sauvignon 10 years old on a trellis. Petit Verdot 10 years old on a trellis.
SOIL
Poor in organic matter, superficial stony limestone over deeper black sand areas.
ALTITUDE
60 meters.

4th September to 8th October.
YIELD VINIFICATION
13 hl/ha in Monastrell, 18 hl/ha in Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, 16 hl/ha in Garnacha Tintorera.
