Description
A.O: Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla y León.
THE VINES: bush-trained vineyard. Planted in 1989 in “La Almendrera” land, a few meters away from the Duero river, in Tordesillas.
SOILS: made up of gravel and clay.
AGING: 24 Months in American and French oak. All the aging (in barrels and in bottles) is done in our subterranean winery, where the wine has the optimal conditions of light, temperature and humidity.
TASTING: Muedra has a garnet color with a red tile rim with a medium-hight intensity.
The aroma is very expressive and elegant. Muedra displays black fruit aromas like plum. It also offers toast bread, pepper and licorice notes. On the mouth is a round and wide wine with a good structure. Muedra is very expressive and meaty, with a balance acidity and volume. The wine culminates in a final prolonged and complex, characterized by the licorice and balsamic sensations.
