Refosco dal peduncolo rosso Doc Friuli Aquileia
Description
Winemaking: traditional red wine vinification, with eight days skin contact at a controlled temperature of about 25°C, fermen-tation in steel vats using selected yeasts, periodic daily pump-ing over the cap and délestage, racking in Slavonia oak cask, malolactic fermentation and maturation in wood until bottling.
Wine: vibrant purple red; briary fruit and raspberry aromatic; fruit-forward, nicely extracted palate with an attractive back-ground note of ripe morello cherries. An important red wine with a great, warm and complex structure, but soft enough for an easy drinking.
