Description
Grape variety: Barbera and Nebbiolo
Production zone: Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d’Alba at 300-350 m a. s. l.
Harvest: hand-picked into baskets from the end of September until the mid of October.
Vinification: after a few hours of fermentation the skins are removed and the fermentation continues in stainless steel with controlled temperature.
Ageing: in stainless steel.
Organoleptic characteristics: beautiful pink color. Fresh and fruity bouquet, rich in raspberry and currant flavour. Fine and pleasant fruit on the palate.
Food pairing: seafood and fish as well as any kind of starter. Ideal also with first courses, vegetable soups and white meat.
Serving: 10-12°C (50–54 °F).
Storage: horizontally in a cool dry place with constant temperatures. Ready to drink but can be cellared for 2/3 years.
