SELVAROSSA Salice Salentino Rosso Riserva
Description
Selvarossa is obtained from Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes, grown in that pleasant Salento region which, thanks to its pedoclimatic conformation, is bathed by two seas and dried by the Tramontana and Scirocco winds that make unique the alberello pugliese and settonce cultivation. The bunches, selected with almost obsessive care, come from the estate's vineyards and do not exceed 50 quintals of grapes per hectare. The fermentation take places in inox containers and the refinement involves 9 months in French oak barriques. Longevity not quantifiable!
Selvarossa is revealed in the glass with an intense garnet red dress. Really very rich nose, able to bring together two souls, one more typical and traditional and another more modern. There is everything in this lysergic olfaction, from dried violet to wild berries, from Rosehip to licorice, from cocoa to cloves. And then again touches of vanilla, cinnamon and graphite.
