SUDOVEST IGT TOSCANA Sangiovese - Colorino del Valdarno - Malvasia Nera
Description
From an ancient land, furrowed by the prevailing south-westerly winds, comes a wine of great drinkability union of three grape varieties grown for centuries in Tuscany: Sangiovese, Colorino del Valdarno and Malvasia Nera. The main peculiarity is represented by the brick tanks used both in vinification and refinement. The combination of local grapes and brick barrels makes this wine very fruity and extremely soft and versatile. The grapes harvested by hand in October after a very light pressing without special processes are vinified and aged in old brick barrels to maintain their varietal and aromatic characteristics.
Tasting Notes: The nose is struck by the scents of red fruit with hints of raspberries, blackberries, cherries, plums and floral ones with echoes of violet just bloomed. Caressing to the taste is a stimulating, elegant wine with a pleasant olfactory correspondence. Very versatile in pairings it is able to combine perfectly with both land and sea cuisine.
