Probably of French origin, Truscè is a Sicilian term used in the past to propose a sincere toast. “Truscè my dear grandfather!”
Classifi cation: White Sparkling Wine Brut
Grape Variety: 70% Catarratto 30% chardonnay
Vinifi cation: The grapes are hand picked at harvest during the cooler hours of the day. After destemming and a prolonged cold maceration on the skins, the grapes are softly pressed followed by a slow alcoholic fermentation, thermo-controlled. (c.a. 12°C). After its fi rst fermentation the wine is placed in autoclaves for the sparkling process that lasts for over 2 months

Color: Pale yellow in color, fi ne and persistent perlage
Scent: Fine and delicate with note of fl ower of zagara tyical of the variety
Taste: Dry, sapid, delicate and fresh
Alcohol Content: 12% vol
Serving Temperature: 6-8° C
Food Pairing: It is perfect as an entree, for an aperitif with fish crudités or at the end of a meal
