Description

Txakolina is the traditional wine made in the Basque region of Spain. It has a characteristic light sparkle and is a fresh, young wine.
This vintage of Aitako has wone  Mundus Vini Gold medal in 2020. We use the grapes produced by our oldest, centenary vines, add a little bit of Chardonnay, and age the txakolina on its lees for 8-10 months before we bottle it.

Aspect: pale gold with a fine sparkle. 
Nose: a blend of fresh pineapple with citrus undernotes. 
Palate: fresh, with well-integrated acidity. 
We recommend serving this txakolina at 8ºC – 10ºC. 
We sell this Aitako wine manly to gourmet restaurants and it goes especially well with seafood, grilled fish, and many oriental cuisines.
