Dark flaky marl and limestone from Lias.
VARIETIES
Carignan, Grenache Noir, Syrah.
WINEMAKING
Traditional wine-making method of the destemmed grapes, each variety being vatted separately. 15% of the Carignan has been aged in barrels during 12 months before the final blend.
SERVING TEMPERATURE
Between 15 °C and 18 °C.
TASTING
EYE : dark red and densely coloured.
NOSE : aromas of red berries, blackcurrant, blueberry
and spices.
PALATE : lick of aniseed that lifts the palate,
lingering savours of red fruits an liquorice.
