Dogliani DOCG Sorì Dij But
Description
Sorì Dij But is the most classic Dogliani: union of several vineyards with different ages and exposures but mainly facing south, indeed the word Sorì means "Sunny Hills".
The wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks and bottled the summer after the harvest and it is drunk within the following two/three years.
The color is a brilliant ruby red. Very expressive and fruity on the nose, you can immediately perceive the typical characteristics of plum and cherry; in the palate it is dry, fragrant, delicate and full-bodied, with pleasant tannins balanced by a good acidity, in the finish a slight taste of almond.
By tradition this wine accompanies well the whole meal, and it is especially fitted for cold cuts and pasta with ragù.
