Dogliani Superiore DOCG Maioli
Description
Maioli is a dry red wine obtained from our oldest vineyard, called Maioli and planted by the grandfather of Anna Maria in 1936.
The low yealds and a perfect ripening characterize this wine, which is vinified and refined in stainless steel tanks for long time, about two years, with long maceration with the skins.
The color is a very intense ruby red, with nuances verging on purple. It is fine and complex on the nose, dominated by more ripe red fruits, declined in jam, and with slight spicy hints.
On the palate it proves to be a wine of character, warm, rich and persistent, with a well-balanced tannin, meant to support a medium ageing in the bottle.
It goes well with tasty and savory first courses and white meat.
