Description
Nuragus 100%. A selection from some historical vineyards characterized by local biotipyes. This a Nuragus(the grape) from Nuragus (the village).The only one.
We’re talking about one of the most important indigenous white grape from Sardinia;
GRAPE HARVEST: manual, premature harvesting, end of September, conferred in boxes to preserve the skin;
VINIFICATION: the grape is processed straight into a soft push so as to obtain homogenous fractions of must. Just the core of the pressing it goes to a 3-4 weeks low temperature (12 c) fermentation;
REFINEMENT: aged in amphora (pottery) for 2-3 months “sul lies” to encourage a maximum benefit “elevage”.
ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES: straw-colored with greenish tinge, hint of asphodel and the mediterranean trees that surrounds the vineyard.
At the palate the sapidity and a very well balanced acidity remind to us that regardless the distance from the sea, the marmoreal soil print his soul full of expressivity in to the wine.
