This Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, aged in oak barrels, has a dark and powerful red colour. Intense red fruit and vanilla aromas. A silky wine with beautiful, opulent wild berries palate, and a complex and long finish.
The grapes are harvested manually. Maceration (3 weeks) and ageing (8 months) are in oak barrels.
Expressive fruitiness and velvety tannins.
Suggestions for food and wine pairings :
Duck, lamb (lamb tajine for instance) or sweet and sour dishes such as caramel pork.
The little extra : with a tarte tatin or a chocolate dessert.
