Description
Sariano, produced by the Count Spalletti Trivelli in their farm Pomario, is a very elegant red wine that expresses to perfection the land of origin, situated between the Hills of the Trasimeno Lake and Orvieto. The position, the soil and the special lighting make Pomario the ideal location for viticulture. Over the last 40 years the vines have grown healthy and productive in the old vineyard, Sangiovese grapes, recently renovated.
Color: Ruby
Aroma: The main flavors that stand out are cherry and ripe plum, typical of this kind of grape, accompanied by the aromatic complexity of a 40 year-old vineyard. These flavors merge perfectly with the scent of wood creating a perfect balance between the fruit and the toasted oak.
Taste: That same aromatic balance you can feel in the mouth. The first impact is lively, strong and aromatic, while the aftertaste has more of a fruity fragrance strengthened by a strong scent of clove that accompanies the wine’s tannins
