Sorlivio, Marche Rosso IGT BIO
Description
Sorlivio is produced in limited ediction and only in the best vintage. Made from Sangiovese grapes from selected and harvested by hand in small boxes in our 60 years old vineyards 60. After wild fermentation and maceration on the skins for about a month, the wine is racked into French oak barrels for at least 22 months. Sorlivio is then bottled and left to age in the bottle for at least 24 months in a temperature controlled environment. The name is a dedication to our grandfather Vallorani Livio, founder with his wife, Filomena, of our company in 1963. Ruby-red with a purple reflection Sorlivio is Intence and elegant on the nose, and shows bright fruit as black cherry, black pepper and toasted notes; on the palate it's structured but harmonic with a good acidity, fine, silky tannins on the palate with an enduring finish of red fruits, chocolate and spices. Total production 2018 : 900 bottles
