Description
Tres Patas comes from old Grenache vineyards in the Sierra de Gredos, a mountainous region at an altitude of more than 800 meters, amidst old holm oaks and junipers. Aromatic plants surround the vineyards, giving this wine its characteristic sous bois aroma.
The climate is hot in the morning and cool in the evening, which is excellent for grape ripening. It’s a fresh, easy drinking wine, on which the variety and the plants’ environment leave their mark. Wine made from grapes harvested from vines more than 65 years old growing on granitic soil on gentle slopes. Attractive and bright cherry color of medium intensity.
Its nose is very fragrant, fresh, floral and rich in nuances, with notes of Mediterranean forest, where red fruits, minerality and very subtle spicy notes stand out.
In the mouth, it’s medium-bodied, with good volume, succulent, fleshy and very fresh. The finish is intense and refreshing, with good aromatic persistence
