Description
The initial impression on the nose evokes mineral scents of smoked limestone, brioche bread, candied lemon with fragrance of mimosa and orange tree. An aeration of the Champagne reveals candied aromas of peach, kumquat, sweet almond, blackcurrant, sour cherry, toasted fig and apple.
On the palate, the approach is smooth and frank with a creamy and melted effervescence. The Champagne develops a luscious fruity refreshed material supported by an orange and lemony acidity. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a limestone minerality that gives chew, fruity resonance and extension on the palate. The material elegance balances the dosage to appreciate a slender and candied finish by letting the redelivery of citruses which maintains an alert and gourmet palate. The Cuvee Demi-sec is a Champagne that offers a candied material whose elegance allows a gourmet versatility.
