Description
The origin of the grape is in the vicinity of the town Castrillo de Duero, in the DO Ribera del Duero
50% Tempranillo- 50% Albillo, variety native to the area.
The harvest is done manually, after a first selection of the grapes varietieis Tempranillo and Albillo strain.Once in the winery , it is stemmed, it squeezes, and is performed maceration in stainless steel tanks at low temperature for two days (for prevent oxidation),after bleeding occurs to another tank where the fermentation procces takes place with controlled temperature always. They leave for three months with lees again as our conducting grandparents in old underground wineries of Castrillo de Duero.
Bright red strawberry
Intense nose with primary aromas wild fruits (strawberries, raspberries) and flowers white violets and mineral nuances of terroir albillo own native variety of the Ribera del Duero violets.
The palate is pleasant, smooth, good pink body with balanced acidity and a very nice mineral aftertaste.
