The Torre Bisenzio Family Reserve brings together the personalities of three international red varieties, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Syrah. This wine is the family’s signature blend showcasing these exceptional grapes grown in our vineyards, harvested with attention, and aged with care. Limited production.
Intense red colour with violet reflections. On the nose hints of blackberry, black current and raspberry together with floral hints of elderberry, rosemary, with a light note of liquorice (Cabernet Franc), Vanilla, Chocolate Powder (Petit Verdot). In the mouth it has soft and enveloping entrance with smooth and compact tannins and closes with sweetness and great depth.
South facing organic certified vineyards located 490 – 530 metres a.s.l. The soil is ocean floor from the mid Pliocene period (5.3 to 2.6 million years ago), comprising of sedimentary clay, gravel sands and alluvial silt with marine fossils. Planting density c.5200 plants/ha. Yield: 35hl/ha. Cordon spur traini
