This wine is an expression of our focus on sustainable farming, together with the pinecone symbolising regeneration and eternal life. Its name, Sarnero, represents our children who are the very embodiment of that future.
A bright, medium coloured intensity with violet reflections the initial aromas of sweet spices, and vanilla and then raspberry and blackberry blended with the warmth of a hint of chocolate. In the mouth it has a warm and pleasant entry that reinforce the initial aromas and tannins that are elegant and smooth. The finish is perfectly and elegantly balanced with a juicy acidity that lengthens and embellishes the taste.
East-West facing organic certified vineyards located over 500 metres a.s.l. The soil is ocean floor from the mid Pliocene period (5.3 to 2.6 million years ago), comprising of sedimentary clay, gravel sands and alluvial silt with marine fossils. Planting density c.5200 plants/ha. Yield: 35hl/ha. Guyot Training method
