Internationally renowned, with Umbrian individuality, Sangiovese expresses the elegance of our wines in its most local interpretation.
Vinification:Hand harvested. Destemmed, pressed, temperature-controlled fermentation. Sangiovese is matured in second or third use oak barrels for 1 year followed by a further year ageing in bottle.
Taste and flavour profile:A transparent red colour with crimson reflections. True to the characteristics of a Sangiovese wine on the nose initial hints of violet, plum and blackberry accompanied by aromas of spices, tobacco, black pepper, and a balsamic note of great elegance. In the mouth a soft and pleasant entry followed by a tannin structure that make you realise the importance of the Sangiovese variety. It closes with marked acidity in its length.
