PIETRO BECONCINI Riserva Chianti DOCG:  With this wine we return the traditional style of Chianti. 
Old School style that we deeply love. We really think that Chianti should be only made by traditional Tuscan grape varieties, like Sangiovese and Canaiolo that we utilize in this wine. 
We have named  this wine in order to remember Leonardo’s father, whose wine was made to be sold within one year of production. 
The economy of the family was built on this. To age a wine for a long time in barrels was something that he could not do for most of his life. 
The Riserva was one of his desires that we achieved by 2007, when  we have selected Sangiovese and Canaiolo from some quite old vineyards of 50-65 years of age.
