Description

RECISO  is the wine closest to our heart. 
Everything started with the goal to create a great Sangiovese in San Miniato, Tuscany. Something that no one had ever done before the 90's : A wine for long aging with an elegant and powerful body.
Leonardo's choice was not popular at that time. As the 90s in Tuscany were entirely dedicated to Supertuscans and the use of international grapes was increasing daily. Leonardo, on the contrary, was focused on massal selections to protect and use the autochthonous grape varieties. 
Reciso is the result of the selection of the very best Sangiovese at Pietro Beconcini. 
It's in reality a cru Sangiovese on the top of 6 hills on the property, well exposed to sun and winds from the sea.
