Description
Coming from Dijon, the Côte de Beaune begins with the village of Ladoix . Ladoix shares with Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses the honor of producing the famous wines of the Butte de Corton (Corton and Corton-Charlemagne). The AOC was instituted in 1937. The situation reveals the full expression of the Chardonnay.
The color is gold. On the nose we have aromas of yellow fruits and acacia, then slightly woody, toasted notes. On the mouth, Ladoix is round on the attack, has a lot of fruit and also fat, and shows a slight bitterness on the finish.
The wine matches with grilled fish, white meats and goat cheese.
