AGE OF VINEYARDS: planted from 1998 to 
2005
LOCALIZATION OF VINEYARDS: Sant’Enea 
and Mercatello, 200 mt from the winery.
TYPE OF SOIL: Clay the one of
Sangiovese and Merlot; rich in skeleton the 
one of Syrah
VINIFICATION: Destemmed and pressed 
immediately after the manual harvesting. 
The skins remain in contact with the must 
for 6 hours before being gently pressed. It 
ferments at controlled temperature and 
remains on the yeasts for 5 months before 
bottling.
TASTING CHARACTERISTICS: fresh, gentle 
and fruity
