Description
These grapes were hand picked at the end of September. The berries were removed from their stems before being gently pressed, which decreased the chance of the wine developing a bitter taste. Afterwards, the wine was set to ferment. Most of which in stainless steel tanks and a smaller percentage in wooden barrels.

Silvaner: the oldest grape variety in Franconia, that prefers the best locations for growing. This way, it can develop its complex bouquett and elegant, long-lasting body. Its aroma resembles ripe apples and wheat fields nearing the harvesting season. This wine truly is a special companion to many a festive menu or variations of fish.
