Spätburgunder Bergtheimer Harfenspiel
Description
The Pinot Noir for this wine is located on the outskirts of Bergtheim, on a south-west directed slope, directly protected from a wooded area north from the vineyards.
We harvested the grapes mid September on a warm and sunny day.
After mashing the grapes, warming them for a short period of time, and then letting the fermentation take place, was it possible for the wine to create its beautiful red color.
Half of the wine was placed in wooden barrels and sat on its fine yeast for 24 months.
