Pituco Paraje las Zorreras is a wine made only on 1 plot at almost 1000 meters of altitude in Montealegre del Castillo. It is the highest altitude area of the Jumilla Designation of Origin, where we have an 80-year-old Monastrell prefiloxeric vineyard of the indigenous variety.
With this wine we want to convey all the uniqueness of this unique terroir.
Elaboration
20 days of controlled temperature maceration with 3 daily pumping over. Aged for 12 months in medium toasted French oak barrels.
Tasting note
Visual phase: Garnet red, medium-high layer, clean, with dense tears.
Olfactory phase: Clean, high intensity with notes of black fruit, Mediterranean bush and fresh citrus notes such as grapefruit. Fine wood of pencil, charcoal and black mineral notes. Balsamic notes and great complexity.
Tasting phase: Powerful and fresh entry into the mouth. Medium - high alcohol, medium - high tannin, medium - high body and medium - high acidity. Great intensity in f
