Vintage: 2020 was a little more humid than the two previous years. Only during the harvesting was there an extreme drought and an unsual heatwave which led to concentration in the berries.
Vines: 100 % Grey Burgundy, approx. 17 year old vines.
Region: Guntersblum Loess Soil
Vinification: Early selective harvesting by hand. 24 hrs on their skins after footpressing. Complete yeast storage. 100% Stainless steel.
Description: 2020 brought us magnificent fruits of yellow apricots & soft yellow pears. Nevertheless, this Grey Burgundy has a lively acidity and a delicate creamy finish.
Drinking Maturity: Ready to drink from February 2021 & can be stored up to Autumn 2026
Menu suggestion: Suits well with meats in a creamy sauce, also a good alternativ to red wines with BBQ’s.
